Admission Ceremony
Date: Friday, May 29, 2026 Dear New Admittee, On behalf of the Genesee County Bar Association, congratulations on passing the State Bar Examination and your imminent admission to the practice of law. The Association will host an admission ceremony for new admittees on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the courtroom of the Honorable Khary L. Hanible, Genesee County Circuit Court, 900 S. Saginaw Street, Flint, MI. Judge Hanible is located on the 3rd floor. If you wish to participate in the ceremony, please complete the registration form to confirm your attendance, identify your sponsor, and indicate the number of guests attending. The registration deadline is Friday, May 22, 2026. If you do not have a sponsor, we will arrange for one to move your admission and ask that you submit a brief biography to tyb@gcbalaw.org before the ceremony. Also, remember to bring with you the following:
Plan on arriving early to allow time to pay your fee to the Genesee County Clerk, meet the bar representative, and receive final instructions. You are appearing before the 7th Judicial Circuit Court; please dress accordingly.
